Athena, the current ROH Women’s World Champion, sustained an injury at the ROH TV tapings earlier this month.
She was unable to participate in the TV tapings that took place after AEW Collision. AEW President Tony Khan mentioned during the AEW Double or Nothing post-show media scrum on Sunday night that Athena will make her return shortly.
PWInsider reports Athena injured her ankle, which is anticipated to see her return in a couple of weeks once it has fully healed.
