AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm made a surprising appearance in a video alongside Mariah May. They directly addressed Shirakawa and presented a challenge for an AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2024 match. Shirakawa accepted the challenge, setting the stage for a showdown.
The pay-per-view event will take place later this month at the UBS Arena in New York.
