Christopher Daniels was named an interim EVP in AEW after getting fired by the Young Bucks last month, something he spoke about in an interview with Renee Paquette.
He said, “Honestly, I think it means that I take a better beating than Tony Khan. That really is the long and short of it. He came back from a neck injury pretty quick. I think all it means is that when decisions need to be made and Tony doesn’t want to go out and possibly risk being attacked by other EVPs, it’s time for CD to take a role. Here I am.”
