A new documentary centered around AEW World Heavyweight Champion Swerve Strickland is in the works. According to a recent report by Deadline, the documentary will delve into Strickland’s collaboration with rapper Flash Garments. This partnership occurred after Strickland departed from WWE in late 2022, coinciding with Garments’ exit from Kanye West’s crew. Together, they worked on creating a fresh theme song for Strickland’s entrance in AEW.
The production of this documentary will be spearheaded by Kenny and Keith Lucas, known for their work on “Judas and the Black Messiah,” alongside Mookie Thompson.
In other news, All Elite Wrestling has confirmed that Strickland will make an appearance on this week’s episode of Dynamite. He is set to have a face-to-face segment with Will Ospreay, building anticipation for his upcoming title defense against the International Champion on June 30 at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
