Conrad Thompson shared on Grilling JR that he got a message from a buddy saying Shane McMahon has been in touch with AEW wrestlers to discuss the possibility of joining the promotion.
This is after Jim Ross said that he didn’t think the idea of McMahon showing up in AEW was as “crazy as you think.”
McMahon suffered a torn quad while competing on the second night of WWE WrestleMania 39 in a match with The Miz last year. This was an impromptu match set up by Miz’s WrestleMania co-host, Snoop Dogg. The injury happened when Shane went for a leapfrog and landed awkwardly.
