Bryan Danielson Names AEW Storyline That “Is So Compelling”

AEW

Bryan Danielson recently did an interview with Sports Illustrated, where he discussed a wide range of topics, including praise for Women’s Champion Toni Storm and Mariah May.

Danielson is hours away from facing Shingo Takagi in an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament first-round match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door tonight. At this same show, Storm defends her title against Mina Shirakawa.

“I have said hi to her maybe twice–there really hasn’t been any conversation, but I was watching Dynamite in Tony’s office the other night, and we both remarked at how she does such a good job,” said Danielson. “Whatever the cultural differences or language barriers, it makes no difference. The Toni Storm-Mariah May-Mina story is so compelling.”
