Former WWE Star Is AEW-Bound

Another ex-WWE wrestler is set to join All Elite Wrestling, as Tony Khan has signed another free agent.

The latest addition to AEW’s roster is Ricochet, who was recently moved from WWE’s active roster page to the alumni section on WWE.com. Ricochet concluded his time on WWE TV last month before parting ways with the company.

According to Fightful Select, Ricochet’s contract with WWE expired at midnight on July 1, making him a free agent. This prevented him from appearing at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event. Sources from both WWE and AEW anticipate that Ricochet will join AEW.

While there are no current plans for him to face Will Ospreay at All In, this could change. Ricochet’s wife, Samantha Irvin, is expected to remain with WWE.
