AEW Star Comments On His Injury Status

Last Saturday’s AEW Collision episode saw Trent Beretta interfere in the main event as he attacked Orange Cassidy, allowing The Kingdom to team up against Kyle O’Reilly and secure a victory.

After the match, Cassidy struck Trent with a wrench from behind. This came after Trent betrayed the Best Friends and turned heel.

Chuck Taylor supported Cassidy, but Trent injured Taylor by hitting his leg with a wrench during their parking lot fight. This development was due to a report from Fightful Select on Saturday, stating that Beretta has been inactive since Double or Nothing in May.

During that event, he put over Cassidy. Beretta had not been cleared to compete “for quite some time” and was supposed to receive a push before his injury. As seen below, Trent commented on his status:
