AEW And WBD Are In Very Deep, Exciting Talks About A New TV Deal

AEW’s TV rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery is set to expire at the end of the year.

This week, reports revealed that a tentative agreement has been reached, but things could still change as they finalize the talks. The deal would also mean AEW content, including pay-per-views, will be available on the MAX streaming platform.

However, it was later reported that a deal hasn’t been finalized yet, and sources close to WBD say that nothing is “imminent” in the next few days. Tony Khan and David Zaslav are both planning to meet in Paris for the Olympics, which has been in the works for months.

AEW President Tony Khan discussed the ongoing talks on the Battleground podcast, saying, “We’re in very deep, exciting conversations.”
