Bobby Heenan Once Told Jimmy Jacobs He Wouldn’t Make It In Wrestling

Jimmy Jacobs has worked both in and out of the ring in the pro wrestling business for decades. He currently works behind-the-scenes for AEW in a creative role.

Jacobs was the latest guest on RJ City’s Hey! (EW) YouTube series, where he noted that he was once managed by Bobby Heenan on the independent circuit.

“I asked him for advice after he saw me perform. He says, ‘Yeah. Get a job, get some weed, go have some fun because you’ll never have a future in this business.'”
