Nicholas Jackson Addresses AEW Blood & Guts Chair Shot

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW hosted the Blood & Guts Match for the fourth consecutive year, with Team AEW facing off against The Elite.

In the match, Jack Perry was handcuffed to the cage and received a chair shot to the head from Mark Briscoe. The babyfaces went over in the end. According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, the chair used was a gimmicked.

According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Nicholas Jackson said of the spot, “All I know is Jack is fine, and that’s all that matters. We know the risk we’re taking in the ring and it wouldn’t have happened if he wasn’t prepared for it.”
