Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson are set to face off in the main event of the AEW All In event on August 25th.
Danielson earned his spot in the bout by winning the Owen Hart Foundation tournament, defeating Hangman Page in the finals. This will be only the second time they will compete against each other, with their first encounter taking place in October 2023 on Dynamite, where Danielson emerged victorious.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Strickland praised Danielson.
“Bryan’s not just experienced, he’s the greatest of all time,” said Strickland. “That’s who I’m going up against–a first-ballot Hall of Famer. I’ve never faced anyone like him. But he’s never faced anyone like me.”
