AEW Star’s Contract To Expire This Year

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select previously reported that Penta El Zero Miedo’s AEW contract is set to expire this year and has interest from WWE. His tag team partner, Rey Fenix, is in a similar situation as the same media outlet reported the news today.

Penta’s contract expires between August and September 2024. Just like Penta, Rey has found a lot of success in AEW after working for countless promotions, including AAA, MLW, TNA Impact, CMLL, and Lucha Underground.

Fightful reports that sources in AEW have said they want to keep the tag team under contract, and the two sides have had talks.
