Mercedes Mone’s NJPW Return Match Announced

Mercedes Mone is headed back to NJPW.

The AEW TBS Champion and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion will compete at NJPW Capital Collision on August 30th against an unknown opponent.

It will be Mone’s first match in NJPW since NJPW STRONG Resurgence 2023, when she suffered an ankle injury, which put her on the sidelines for months. Here is the updated card:

  • NJPW Strong Openweight Championship: Gabe Kidd (c) vs. Lio Rush
  • Zack Sabre Jr vs. Titan
  • Trish Adora vs. HANAKO
  • Dirty Work (Fred Rosser & Tom Lawlor) vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs)
  • Mercedes Mone to compete
