Reason Why AEW Did Not Suspended MJF Over Britt Baker Confrontation

AEW

News broke last week that Britt Baker was suspended and fined by AEW for a week or two due to an incident involving MJF and Alicia Atout.

Fightful Select reports Baker made some comments about MJF in the women’s locker room at the July 17th Dynamite show, which led to a confrontation between them. Atout, MJF’s girlfriend, also confronted Baker.

After an investigation by HR, her punishment was given. Despite being close friends in the past, Baker and MJF had a falling out over the last year.WrestlePurists reported that the incident occurred after MJF’s match with Ospreay, where MJF punched a wall in frustration.

A new report from Ibou at WrestlePurists mentioned that AEW chose not to suspend MJF because HR viewed his actions as him standing up for Atout, and they didn’t think it warranted any punishment.
