Two AEW Stars Expected To Leave For Rival Promotion

Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix are rumored to be attracting interest from WWE as their contracts end.

According to Bryan Alvarez from F4Wonline, those in AEW believe both wrestlers will likely leave for WWE once their current deals are up. WrestlePurists reported earlier this week that the two are expected to depart, and it was mentioned that the Trios Championship match scheduled for All In later this month has been altered.

In June, LuchaLibre Online indicated that Penta’s contract would expire between August and September, and WWE is expected to show interest. Fightful also mentioned last month that Fenix’s contract is set to end this year.

Since AEW’s debut in 2019, the Lucha Brothers have been a significant part of the promotion. They were featured in the very first Double or Nothing event, where they faced The Young Bucks. Along with a Tag Team Title reign, they have also held the AEW World Trios titles once alongside PAC.
