AEW Wrestler Slated To Be Medically Cleared Soon

AEW wrestler Bandido has been out of action due to an injury he sustained during a match that aired in June 2023 on Rampage, where he lost to Konosuke Takeshita in a singles bout. The injury was to his wrist.

Initially, he was diagnosed with a triangular fibrocartilage complex injury. Bandido sought a second opinion before undergoing surgery the following month. There was some optimism as he was reportedly getting closer to returning to the ring.

Unfortunately, his comeback was delayed because the injury didn’t heal as expected, leading to the need for another surgery. He was originally aiming to return in April, but that timeline has passed without him being back in action.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer, “Bandido still hasn’t been cleared, but he should be soon.”
