Kevin Sullivan, known as “The Taskmaster,” sadly passed away at 74. Barry Rose, a long-time figure in Florida wrestling, first reported the news and later confirmed it by PWInsider.com.
In recent months, Sullivan had been facing serious health challenges. His condition worsened dramatically in May when he had to undergo emergency surgery that was crucial for saving both his leg and his life. Unfortunately, he then experienced severe complications, including sepsis and encephalitis.
Sullivan began his wrestling career in 1982 and worked with several promotions, such as Florida Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, WCW, and ROH.
He was a major draw in the wrestling world and is remembered for his intense rivalries with legends like Hulk Hogan, Dusty Rhodes, The Road Warriors, Sting, Randy Savage, and the Four Horsemen, among others.
Sullivan was widely regarded as one of the greatest minds in wrestling history.
