Sunday’s AEW All In: London 2024 pay-per-view event from Wembley Stadium featured AEW World Heavyweight Champion Swerve Strickland vs. Bryan Danielson. The stipulation was that if Danielson lost he would have to retire.
Danielson won the shot at this title bout by winning the Owen Hart Cup. Strickland won the title by defeating Samoa Joe at Dynasty on April 21, 2024.
