Hikaru Shida Says She’s ‘Really Happy’ Women’s Main Events Have Become More Common In AEW

On Saturday’s AEW Collision, a fatal four-way matchup took place between Queen Aminata, Serena Deeb, Hikaru Shida, and Thunder Rosa, with the winner earning a TBS Championship match-up at All Out.

Shida will wrestle Mercedes Mone for the title at All Out. Shida said during a gaming stream that being in the main event was a dream come true.

“I won the four-way match, and it announced the title match on AEW All Out next week,” Shida said. “I also feel so happy that the women’s match got the main event [of Collision]. Actually, a few years ago my dream was doing the main event on a TV show, but these days it’s getting [to be] normal, right? I’m really happy about that.”
