Ricochet recently did an interview with The Masked Man Show, where he discussed a wide range of topics.
During the interview, Ricochet spoke about his AEW arrival after making his debut at All In in the Casino Gauntlet Match.
“Being able to rekindle that passion, rekindle that love that I started doing it 21 years ago for. To go back to the roots of it and really open up that side of my life again and just rekindle that passion that was obviously still there, it just…my gas can was a little empty. The fire was still there, I just needed some gas to throw in the fire, rekindle that fire, and I think AEW is that gas can,” he said. “I always feel like the new person. I always feel, I was the same, even now because a lot of them are younger than me, which is crazy, but I was always the young kid, I was the young one and the new guy. Obviously my body feels like it’s a vet because my body has taken a lot of bumps and beatings. But I really just try to go in open-minded. I try to go in, again, I really do feel new. This is a new place. Although it’s my friends and everything feels comfortable, I am new, and I do feel new, so I want to do everything that I can, put extra work in to catch up basically to all these guys because they’re all doing some good stuff. Everybody’s doing good stuff here. I know I’m new and I know it’s a big thing that I’m here, but I want to be able to contribute and contribute and contribute as much as possible, just like everybody else is doing because everybody’s on top of their game.
