Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness were bitter rivals in Ring of Honor. Now, they’re expected to meet in a non-title match on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
The AEW World Heavyweight Champion praised Nigel in an interview with Justin Barrasso.
“Nigel looked good–he looked real good,” said Danielson. “I wanted to see his entrance and how the crowd responded to him, and I loved the stuff between him and Okada. As I was preparing, I missed the interplay between Nigel and Zack Sabre Jr., so I was really looking forward to going back and watching that. It’s incredible he’s back.”
