Recently, Wrestling Inc. founder Raj Giri shared that Malakai Black’s contract is nearing its end. According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer, WWE is eager to have him back.
Meltzer mentioned that Black’s contract is set to expire in early 2025, although there might be some extensions due to his time away from the ring, but it shouldn’t be too long.
Interestingly, Black’s wife, Zelina Vega, is part of WWE and has many connections within the company, including CM Punk. He was one of the talents Triple H considered bringing back when he took over WWE’s creative direction. As of now, Black hasn’t made any statements regarding his contract situation.
