Jay White Injury Update

WWE

Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion “Switchblade” Jay White has been out for more than a month due to a foot injury. This setback caused AEW to alter their plans, leading to the Bang Bang Gang giving up their Trio’s Championships.

According to Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select, White was being evaluated at a TV event in August for a possible comeback to the ring. Those behind the scenes were initially optimistic that his return would happen soon.

At one stage, AEW thought about including him in the All In event, but it’s uncertain if he made the trip to London. The plan was for him to participate in the Casino Gauntlet match. While he has shown progress, he still hasn’t been cleared as of last week.

In an update, WrestlePurists has reported that White is expected to make his return to AEW very soon. As of now, there are no additional details available.
