AEW booked Women’s World Champion Mariah May vs. Willow Nightingale at this year’s WrestleDream pay-per-view event from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA. May went over with the storm zero.

May won the title by defeating previous champion Toni Storm on August 25, 2024, at All In in London, England.
