Two Big Stars Make Their Return AEW WrestleDream

AEW booked TNT Champion Jack Perry vs. Katsuyori Shibata at this year’s WrestleDream pay-per-view event from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA.

Perry had won the vacant title by defeating Konosuke Takeshita, Mark Briscoe, Dante Martin, Lio Rush, and El Phantasmo in a ladder match at Forbidden Door on June 30, 2024.

Perry went over as he was being choked out and Shibata had his shoulders down so Perry won. Adam Cole and MJF returned after the match.
