Konnan Congratulates AEW On New TV Deal

A new multi-year multimedia rights agreement has been made between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery. Starting in 2025, AEW pay-per-views will be shown on Max at a lower price per event.

The deal is worth $555 million over three years, not counting the money made from pay-per-view events. During the latest edition of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, former WCW and WWE wrestler Konnan discussed the deal.

“Congratulations on getting 3 more years. Obviously, that will never, ever be printed, [I] dare anyone to. We don’t want you to get canceled, we just want the show to get better by explaining who these Japanese and Mexican wrestlers are.”
