Swerve Strickland On Talking To Hangman Page’s Child: That Was An Ugly Baby

Swerve Strickland did an interview with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson on No Contest Wrestling.

During it, he reflected on an angle in October 2023 when Strickland broke into Hangman Page’s home.

“That was an ugly baby, bro. That was something I never got to get across It was a slinky effect. That moment brought me up here, and my success brought Hangman back up here. Now, Hangman is back up here and tearing through again. That’s what you want to do. Propel each other up by their actions. I don’t ever do an action for that action alone. What’s leading and here is the reaction, how do we react to that? What’s something that is sentimental to me, the Swerve character? All that horrible, diabolical stuff I have done, there is still a human in there that has sentiment and values. Now, Hangman, it took a while, but Hangman found it. It was my home. Me buying back my home, with my success, it brought something else out of Hangman to take that away from me. The sentimental thing with Hangman was his family and home. We’re very similar because the sentimental thing for me was my family and home. We’re very similar, but opposite at the same time,” said Swerve.
