A new multi-year multimedia rights agreement has been made between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery. Starting in 2025, AEW pay-per-views will be shown on Max at a lower price per event.
The shows Dynamite and Collision will continue to air on TBS and TNT. The deal is worth $555 million over three years, not counting the money made from pay-per-view events.
AEW is still shopping around a third show with the rumor being for Shockwave that would air on FOX or FS1.
Dave Meltzer reported the following in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
Things can always change, but the new deal does not talk of a new night for either show or changing the time of the show from two hours. Rampage is not part of the deal. As of right now, the show will be ending at the end of the year but that isn’t a lock. There are talks involving Rampage, or another third show, which would be either be called Rampage but be a “reimagined Rampage,” meaning a different type of show, or changing the third show name to Shockwave.
The third show is being shopped around, including to FOX.
