Chris Jericho recently did an interview with The Adam Carolla Show, where he discussed a wide range of topics.
During the interview, the AEW star discussed his acting career.
“I’ll say this too, I was looking up last night to see if John ever had the number one movie in the country, and he hasn’t. So there we go, Chris Jericho and The Rock have had the number one movie [laughs]. I mean, obviously, like I said earlier, acting is kind of what we do in wrestling. Yeah, I’ve done quite a few things over the years, but the last year and a half, two years have been a lot more, which is great. When you get the evasive offer to be in a movie, that’s what you’re looking for. You don’t have to audition. You don’t have to worry…here’s an offer to get this part. I’ve had quite a few offers, like ‘Terrifier’ was an offer. When you get that, it’s a really cool place to be in. So yeah, of course, I’d love to continue to work my way up the ladder. It’s fun, this is what we do, and I’ve been doing it for 34 years. How long have you been acting, Chris? Since I was 19, when I started getting into wrestling. It’s just playing a character. So yeah, the overall intention is to do more for sure, but I’ve been enjoying it and learning along the way,” Jericho said.
