Adam Cole Needed To Have Someone Else’s Bone Added Because The Bone In My Ankle Just Fell Apart

AEW

Adam Cole broke his ankle in a freak accident, jumping off the entrance ramp on the September 2023 Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite. Cole later returned at WrestleDream to confront MJF.

Cole shared with Sports Illustrated that he needed bone from a deceased person for his surgery after his ankle shattered completely.

This bone was used during his second operation instead of a metal plate.

“I not only had to have twice as many screws in my ankle, but I also needed to have someone else’s bone added because the bone in my ankle just fell apart. I’m really grateful to [the donor] and their family.”
