According to Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select in September, Miro had requested his release from All Elite Wrestling.

He could have participated in the AEW All-In Casino Gauntlet, which was discussed. Earlier this year, Miro suggested a match with Jon Moxley, but creative differences between him and AEW made it difficult to move forward. This issue has reportedly become a recurring theme for both parties.

Miro was earning a seven-figure salary in AEW after signing a deal in September 2020, which was supposed to end in spring 2022. Not long after, he signed a four-year extension that would keep him with AEW until Spring 2026.

The report states that Miro has been out longer than AEW anticipated following Worlds End, but he has been healthy for some time now.
