Springfield Lucky Horseshoes to Host Legends Classic 4 at Robin Roberts Stadium on Saturday, August 9th
Springfield, IL – December 5, 2024 – The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are excited to announce the return of the highly anticipated Legends Classic at Robin Roberts Stadium on Saturday, August 9th. The fourth edition of this fan-favorite event promises to be the biggest one yet, featuring an impressive lineup of former Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Stars and iconic players from the past.
This year’s Legends Classic will see representatives from both the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals, alongside other MLB legends from multiple teams, as they take to the field for an unforgettable night of baseball. The event will celebrate the history of the game, bringing fans face-to-face with some of the most beloved players in MLB history.
Past Legends Classic events have hosted such greats as Brian Jordan, Rick Ankiel, Ray Lankford, Tommy Herr, Scott Spiezio, Jody Davis, Kyle Farnsworth, Justin Grimm, and Pedro Strop. With the fourth edition set to be the biggest yet, fans can expect even more memorable moments.
The Legends Classic 4 will feature a variety of fan-friendly activities, including meet-and-greets, autograph sessions, photo opportunities, and, of course, a thrilling baseball game showcasing these legendary players.
