MLW today announced an explosive showdown for Kings of Colosseum on Saturday, January 11, at the NYTEX Sports Centre in the greater Dallas-Ft. Worth area. In a battle that has been brewing for months, KENTA will go one-on-one with the disruptor, Donovan Dijak.
It was doomsday in Chicago when KENTA, fresh off a hard-fought victory over Paul London, had his post-match celebration experience a Dijak hijack. The towering powerhouse stormed the ring and unleashed a brutal assault, crushing KENTA’s shoulder in a vicious and unprovoked attack. The shocking ambush left KENTA in need of medical attention and sidelined through the end of 2024 in MLW.
But the master of the Go 2 Sleep is far from finished. After weeks of recovery, KENTA has been cleared for action and demanded a grudge match against the towering Dijak. Known for his unyielding fighting spirit, KENTA is looking for retribution on January 11.
KENTA’s storied career in the sport speaks for itself. A top-ranked fighter in MLW, he battled his way to the finals of the prestigious Opera Cup and remains in the hunt for a major title shot in 2025. However, his path to glory has been obstructed by Dijak, whose path of destruction has made him one of MLW’s most feared competitors.
Since debuting six months ago, Donovan Dijak has unleashed total annihilation in the MLW ring. Towering at nearly 6’7″ and combining brute strength with technical prowess, Dijak has dismantled every opponent in his way, earning an undefeated record and a reputation as the league’s most dangerous fighter. Now, with the spotlight of Kings of Colosseum upon him, Dijak looks to solidify his dominance by extinguishing KENTA’s fire once and for all.
For KENTA, this match isn’t just about revenge—it’s about redemption. Can the decorated international star topple the indomitable Dijak, or will he be ratio’d by Dijak?
