Ricky Starks Showed Up At DEFT Event

Ricky Starks of AEW made an unexpected appearance at the conclusion of Defy’s Blueprint event on Sunday, where he confronted KENTA following his successful title defense against Schaff.

AEW CEO Tony Khan took various questions from the media during the media call ahead of AEW Worlds End. During the call, Khan discussed the status of Ricky Starks, who hasn’t been seen on AEW TV in months because AEW won’t use him. He pointed to the first episode of Dynamite of 2025.

“I think we’ll have to stay tuned to see who’s going to be a part of the Fight for the Fallen simulcast. It remains to be seen. We’ve got a great roster here, and we’ve got one of our best pay-per-view lineups for Worlds End this year. I think it’s a tremendous card. Then, As for who’s going to be at the ‘Mother of All Simulcasts,’ that remains to be seen. But thanks for asking.”
