AEW Double Or Nothing 2025 Won’t Face WWE Competition

The Peacock schedule for WWE programming includes two forthcoming WWE specials. The schedule indicates the next two Saturday Night’s Main Event specials, set for May 24 and July 12.

The May event is scheduled for a week prior to Memorial Day Weekend, a time when AEW typically hosts its Double or Nothing pay-per-view event. The July event will coincide with AEW’s All In, which is slated for Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Dave Meltzer reported the following in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter: “Now Double or Nothing was not announced for 5/24, and in recent years AEW has moved its PPV shows to Sundays outside of football season. We were able to confirm that AEW was not planning a PPV that day, and was likely planning one the next day. However, historically, Double or Nothing most years was on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.”
