While appearing at a K&S WrestleFest Virtual Signing, Prince Nana addressed whether his in-ring career is officially over. The long-time manager and wrestler clarified that while he hasn’t ruled out stepping back into the ring, he is focused on supporting the next generation of talent:
“They’re not [over], but I leave it for the people trying to get into the business now.”
Prince Nana’s In-Ring Career and Current Role
Prince Nana, best known for his role as a charismatic manager and leader of the Embassy faction, has had a storied career in wrestling. Though primarily recognized for his managerial work, Nana has also competed in the ring during his time with Ring of Honor (ROH) and other promotions.
His work as a manager has been praised for bringing old-school charisma and storytelling to the modern wrestling landscape.
Possibility of a Return to the Ring
While Prince Nana’s focus is on mentoring and managing, his comments suggest he hasn’t entirely closed the door on an in-ring return. However, his reluctance to step back into competition seems tied to his desire to give opportunities to newer talent:
“I leave it for the people trying to get into the business now.”
This highlights his role as a mentor and advocate for younger wrestlers, emphasizing his commitment to helping others succeed in the industry rather than chasing personal glory.
