Malakai Black’s Tenure With AEW Is Over

AEW

Malakai Black is no longer listed on AEW’s roster page, confirming his departure from the promotion. While his free agency was anticipated, it now appears he’s WWE-bound.

PWTorch’s Wade Keller previously reported influential WWE figures are fans of Black, seeing him as a potential top singles star. Sources indicated Black felt more comfortable with Triple H in charge creatively.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported WWE has discussed creative plans for him.

PWInsider reports Black’s AEW contract expired on Sunday, making him a free agent.
