Ricky Starks Released From AEW

Ricky Starks’ next move is the subject of much speculation following his departure from AEW. His removal from the AEW website, confirmed by Fightful Select and PWInsider, signals the end of his time with the promotion.

Despite being sidelined since March 2024, Starks was bound by his AEW contract, with Tony Khan reportedly denying his previous release request.

During this period, he worked independent shows (Glory Pro, House of Glory) but was pulled from GCW. With WWE reportedly interested, many believe Starks is headed there now that his AEW contract has run its course. Starks has not yet commented publicly.
