WWE Star Heading To AEW?

Cedric Alexander was among several WWE releases on Friday, including Elektra Lopez, Isla Dawn, AOP (Rezar and Akam), manager Paul Ellering, and Blair Davenport. Sonya Deville’s contract was also not renewed.

While Fightful Select previously reported AEW interest in Alexander from members of The Hurt Business, there’s been no update on Tony Khan’s pursuit.

Interestingly, Alexander recently shared a photo of WWE Hurt Business action figures sporting AEW titles, despite Lashley and Benjamin recently winning the AEW Tag Team titles.
