A few months ago, it was reported that Miro had requested his release from All Elite Wrestling. Several outlets confirmed he has been released.
Earlier this year, Miro suggested a match with Jon Moxley, but creative differences between him and AEW made it difficult to move forward. This issue has reportedly become a recurring theme for both parties.
Miro was earning a seven-figure salary in AEW after signing a deal in September 2020, which was supposed to end in spring 2022. Not long after, he signed a four-year extension that would keep him with AEW until spring 2026.
Qatar Pro Wrestling has announced that Miro will make his first post-AEW appearance at their events on February 21st and 22nd at Aspire Ladies Sport Hall in Doha, Qatar. He’ll be part of a show featuring Mustafa Ali, Nic Nemeth, Bobby Lashley, and 35 other wrestlers.
