Sting May Make One-Off WWE Return

Lex Luger’s upcoming WWE Hall of Fame induction has naturally led to widespread speculation that his close friend and former tag team partner, Sting, will be the one to induct him, a choice Luger has openly advocated for in interviews. Despite retiring over a year ago, Sting remains affiliated with All Elite Wrestling through a new Legends contract.

While it’s uncertain whether this contract necessitates AEW’s consent for Sting to participate in the Hall of Fame ceremony, reports indicate WWE was prepared to seek approval, if needed. Sting’s initial plan for a brief WrestleMania week appearance in Las Vegas has been adjusted, suggesting a potential expansion of his involvement.
