Following Mone’s victory over Billie Starkz on this week’s Dynamite, Athena posted intriguing social media content directed at Mone, fueling speculation about a potential match between the two.
Fightful sources have corroborated that a clash between Athena and Mone is indeed the plan, with some insiders indicating AEW Dynasty as a possible venue, though this has yet to be officially announced.
Notably, Athena and Mone have never competed in a one-on-one match. Their last encounter was a 2018 triple threat match, where Athena emerged victorious, and they haven’t shared the ring in any capacity for over six years.
