AEW Avoids Collision with WWE: All In: Texas Shifts Start Time
A potential head-to-head clash between AEW and WWE has been averted, as AEW’s All In: Texas event has shifted its start time to avoid overlapping with a previously scheduled WWE special. Initially, anticipation grew for a direct competition on Saturday, July 12, 2025, when Peacock’s event schedule listed a Saturday Night’s Main Event special for the same day as AEW’s All In, set to take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. This marked AEW’s ambitious move to host a pay-per-view event in an American baseball stadium, raising the stakes for the evening.
However, AEW has strategically adjusted the All In: Texas start time to 3 p.m. ET, 2 p.m. local time, ensuring the event concludes before WWE’s anticipated 8 p.m. ET start. This decision effectively eliminates the direct competition, allowing fans to potentially enjoy both events without conflict. The move also highlights AEW’s strategic planning and awareness of the potential scheduling overlap.
In addition to the All In: Texas announcement, AEW has confirmed that the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland will host live episodes of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, July 9, and AEW Collision on Thursday, July 10. These live events leading up to All In: Texas will build momentum for the highly anticipated stadium show. As of now, WWE has not officially announced the details of their July 12th special, leaving some speculation as to if the event will still occur. The change in AEW’s start time, however, removes the direct competition that was initially expected.
