Anthony Bowens Reveals What His ‘Five-Tool Player’ Nickname Means

AEW

Following his victory over former Acclaimed teammate Max Caster at AEW Dynasty 2025, Anthony Bowens brought back his earlier wrestling alias, the “Five-Tool Player.” During the post-show press conference, Bowens elaborated on this decision, stating that the revival of the nickname symbolized a reconnection with his beginnings in independent wrestling. In his own words, he explained:

“Five-Tool Player is a term for a baseball superstar, and I am wrestling’s Five-Tool Player. The perfect combination of power, athleticism, intelligence, the look, and the it factor. And it’s something that I’m really excited to bring forth and I hope people enjoy it.”
