New AEW Champions Crowned

At AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru, the reign of The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, & Wheeler Yuta) as AEW Trios Champions came to an end. Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs captured the titles, with Joe securing the victory by choking out Moxley.

The match also featured interference from Willow Nightingale, The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson), and Swerve Strickland.  Powerhouse Hobbs stepped in to team with Joe and Shibata after HOOK, the originally scheduled partner, was reportedly taken out by The Death Riders.
