Just over a month after his debut on the March 12th edition of AEW Dynamite, “Speedball” Mike Bailey is already feeling the impact of his move to the promotion. Bailey, a veteran known for his dynamic in-ring style, has been a consistent presence on AEW programming, even competing for the AEW International Championship at the recent AEW Dynasty pay-per-view on April 6th.
In a recent vlog captured during this past week’s AEW Dynamite, Bailey shared his initial thoughts on his AEW experience. “I have been with AEW for nearly a month now, and it has been a wild month,” Bailey exclaimed, reflecting on his rapid integration into the company.
Despite the short timeframe, Bailey feels he has already accomplished a significant amount. “I feel like I have done so much in just that short time, and I have a lot of time left in AEW, and I’m super excited to see what the future brings.” His remarks convey enthusiasm and optimism for his continued journey with All Elite Wrestling.
Bailey’s debut saw him defeat The Beast Mortos in an AEW International Championship Eliminator Tournament match, quickly establishing him as a contender. He then advanced to a four-way match to determine the number one contender, ultimately leading to his championship match against Kenny Omega at AEW Dynasty, showcasing his immediate involvement in significant storylines within the promotion.
