Steel Cage Match Official for AEW Beach Break: Moxley vs. Jo

AEW

Following a successful AEW World Trios Championship defense against local competitors on the April 30th edition of AEW Dynamite, The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & Powerhouse Hobbs) were blindsided by a vicious attack.

Jon Moxley’s Death Riders faction stormed the ring, leaving the champions down, with Claudio Castagnoli notably targeting Shibata with a Neutralizer onto a steel chair. An enraged Samoa Joe eventually recovered and grabbed a microphone.

Seething after the assault, Joe issued a fiery challenge directly to AEW World Champion Jon Moxley for their previously scheduled title match. Citing the repeated group attacks, Joe demanded their championship bout at the upcoming AEW Dynamite: Beach Break special in two weeks take place inside the unforgiving confines of a Steel Cage.
