The event in question is an AEW house show slated for May 9, 2026, at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. Bowens, making his priorities clear, stated he would not be available for this particular date.
In his post, Bowens humorously but firmly addressed any speculation: “To the surprise of NO ONE, I will not be at the May 9th, 2026 AEW event in Trenton, NJ (no matter how much I love NJ). That’s the day I’m getting married.” He added, “Everyone can take their fantasy booking and shove it lol.
