New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) has officially announced several high-stakes encounters for its upcoming Dominion event, scheduled for Sunday, June 9, 2025, at Osaka-jo Hall. The card will feature three championship bouts and a highly anticipated Dog Collar match.
The IWGP World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as Jon Moxley makes his second defense of the title against EVIL. Additionally, the NEVER Openweight Championship will be contested when Shingo Takagi defends against HENARE. In tag team action, an IWGP Tag Team Championship four-way match and a KOPW 2025 Championship match are also set, though specific participants for the latter were still being finalized at the time of NJPW’s announcement.
Adding a brutal stipulation to the event, a Dog Collar match is now official between Shota Umino and an opponent to be named, stemming from recent intense confrontations. This match, known for its violent nature, promises to be a pivotal moment on the card.
The NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship will also be defended as Stephanie Vaquer puts her title on the line against an opponent yet to be determined. These announcements begin to shape Dominion into one of NJPW’s signature events of the year.
